CAROLINE LOVELACE - Owner and Principal Designer

With just over a decade in the design industry, I've had the chance to do it all; starting as a design assistant and working my way through selections, documentation, procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and project managing full-scale builds on homes up to 15,000 square feet. That experience means I don't just create beautiful spaces, I know how to actually get them done in a way that feels smooth and stress-free for the people I work with.

At Lovelace Studios, I lean on years of relationships in the design, art, and building community to bring something truly special to every project. But more than anything, this work is about connection; getting to know my clients, understanding how they live, and creating a home that feels completely and uniquely them. Every decision from layout, building materials, lighting, to one-of-a-kind art and decor is intentional. The homes I design aren't just beautiful, they're personal.

When I'm not in the middle of a project, I'm at home with my husband Brock, our daughter Quinn, and our two fur babies, Beckett and Kala. You'll most likely find me on the couch with a good show or somewhere near the water, which honestly just reminds me every day why having a home that feels right matters so much. It is our comfort and respite from the every day world.

ROBYN BISHOP - Operations Manager

A graduate of Mississippi State University, I began my career in early childhood education before pursuing my M.Ed. in School Counseling and spending several years locally as a high school counselor. When the opportunity arose to join Lovelace Studios, I was confident it was the right time to make a change and pursue my longstanding interest in the design field. 

As a native Memphian, I have always appreciated the spirit of our city, which lends itself to such diverse architecture and personal artistic style. I truly believe there is something for everyone here, and the opportunity to be a small part of making someone’s house into a home that is both functional and speaks to their unique interests brings me such joy.

On a personal note, my husband Evan and I got married in 2017 and have two dogs (Chaz and Lola). When I am not at work, I’m likely trying out a new restaurant, watching a game, or attempting a round of golf.
