Refined Comfort for the Next Chapter
For this couple transitioning into their empty-nest years, the goal was to transform a stark, modern new build into a home that felt layered, personal, and full of life. Their previous residence embraced a warm French Country style, and this renovation sought to recapture that inviting spirit while giving it a more tailored, contemporary edge.
Soft taupes, rich blues, and natural wood tones now infuse every space with warmth and texture. The kitchen retained its functional layout but gained new custom cabinetry, wood accents, and a fresh sense of craftsmanship. The living room’s built-ins and the primary suite’s new wood ceiling details bring architectural depth, while updated lighting throughout the home adds a cohesive glow.
A former bedroom was reimagined as a dream walk-in closet — complete with two rotating shoe and purse carousels, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, and a seated vanity positioned before a floating mirror and window for natural light. With thoughtful updates and a mix of beloved existing pieces and new additions, the result is a home that feels both fresh and deeply familiar — a graceful continuation of the clients’ story in a more intimate setting.
